had to work today! and tomorrow! and monday! i am a little bummed because of it. so much stuff to do still. almost done. at least i am learning a lot. okie. enough about that!

today's highlights
1) watching Last of the Mohicans! again for like the 10th time! i think it is my favorite movie.. esther and i want to each buy the DVD-- sometime!!
2) watching amber ( the shihs dog) so cute! i want a dog!
3) hmm, i just cleaned out the bathroom- bottom drawers. i will be going to ann arbor in about 10 days! each day must do a little cleanup/organizing. also massive car, house clean up before mark comes on saturday!

tomorrow esther and i are going to have brunch at the ramada inn. mommy got some free coupons at work. so tomorrow i stuff myself! i hope its good.

esther and i just finished watching sling blade- it was quite touching- the only time in which murder is justified? there are some really kind people in that movie.. the kindest is the one who commits the murder.. the evil guy is killed.. it is a little bit long and slow- but i think definitely one of those movies you watch during the summer because you have so much time.

speaking of which- esther wants to see blue crush, possession and a good girl all before i leave. =) i haven't really gone to the movies much this summer- so i will make up for it now. =) hee. we also want to get from the library- evita and the english patient.

it looks like we have to work tomorrow. sigh. well- i hope to have a full week off next week. i am excited. next saturday, esther and i were also hoping to have a party-dinner-movie type thing. =) so far the guests are jon s, jon y, felicia, ivy, jess, mark, and maybe chanson? i think that would be a nice bunch.

okie. do i sound subdued. i think i sorta am- maybe im not so inspired to write these days. =P esp with esther home. hee. okay! off i go to shower.

today's highlight was going to ben and jerrys. also! just now esther and i were watching this really lame TV movie. i can't stop laughing about it. it's supposed to be dramatic but ewwwwwwwww. why do i watch these made of TV lifetime for women movies...?? waste of time! which is why i am all ready for bed and just chatting with mark online. haha. i can't stop lauging about it.... groosss.

okie. this is the week of doing nothing- anticipating everything...

not much happened today. went to work- had fun with E, looked ALL over for the Ben and Jerry's along mission college-- but it was in the plaza with AMC mercado 20! haha. the lessons we learn. driving the acura is a lot of fun though!

tomorrow hopefully will be more eventful. good night!

the last two things i will do tonight is shower and then perhaps watch "meet the parents" again, or another movie. today's "fun" was going to stanford-palo alto's borders and choosing a CD to buy for 50 percent off. i was deciding between bon jovi, madonna- but at the checkout line i saw the Topgun soundtrack for 7.99. and i had the coupon for 50 percent off! so total it was only 4.23. most excellent. =) palo alto is an uppity town- you can see that by the way the people dress there. it has the prestige of stanford being there..

work was interesting- esther and i got hyper and ended up laughing and being silly a lot. =)

maybe it has been warmer or something, but lately at night i have trouble sleeping. im always thinking or something. i don't know what it is.

i feel like i am in a blah period. i need to plan! we are trying to get a potluck arranged- maybe go clubbing? that is something that mark can do with us if we decide... hmm. i am trying to think of making his trip good- as well as making sure i spend time with jess, ivy, esther, before i leave. okie. maybe tomorrow i will be more perky- write more.

esther is a sweetheart. she is doing the index and editing for the book while i just be on my lazy butt. i think she understands that i am so tired of reading the same thing over... i was supposed to stop working, but i still have to at least this week. so i am here, but esther is clicking away. such a dear sister. i will work tomorrow. i just really wanna have fun you know? the clock is ticking... almost starting my junior year of college! and i need to be serious about school. i haven't been and that is NO GOOD. so, even mommy is pushing me to go have fun or else i will feel like this entire summer has been work work work.

i hope e gets to spend time with jonathan today. they haven't seen much of each other this past week that she has been home. i think he is a little tied down by family obligations- i hope his summer gets better-- i tell esther just to go over to his house and spend time over there. i don't know what i want to do today.. hum. clean the room.house? perhaps. clean the bathroom! that is always fun. heh. okie. hopefully we leave early today.

oops. haven't written in awhile! that is a good thing. it means that i have been preoccupied with going out with people, doing things, being away from the computer. =) i only check my email.. twice a day now. haha!

so... i finished class and it seemed like the must-take-advantage-of-last-days-of-summer attitude crept in. i don't have time to be sad- time to think. must devote all time to having fun. yup. so thats my attitude. and i have! this weekend- i have seen jon shih, steve, felicia, ivy.... jon shih and steve on friday- we went to miyake and home depot- waiting for them to get the parts for the potato gun- then we played cards and bridge at our house. on saturday esther and i didn't do much- until the evening when our little family went to san francisco 3com park to see the 49ers play. it was good! we got such good seats! lower box! today was mainly spent at de anza gym- watching the entire wushu tournament- and ivy! with felicia. afterwards we went to TK noodle to eat, then the Fiesta de Artes, where we saw Ellen! from our Key Club days, then Coldstone to eat ice cream. Then we sent Ivy back, sent Felicia home and borrowed two DVDs from her. Then just now we went to Auntie's house to try on some clothes and then Albertsons....

haha- i like to keep track of the fun i have. =)

but i have the best news! Mark is coming to California. He is coming from the 24th- 28th, meaning that he will fly back with me. I have been thinking about how to make his trip worthwhile. Go to San Francisco- go to Carmel/Monterey, where else? He has three and a half days here. i am a little frazzled by it. it's bridging my school life and personal life. he's the first to see me in my home setting. it's so different i think. and to think that two years ago i knew nothing about him. hm. i wonder if he feels the same way. i think he does.

it's so hot here! finally summer is kicking in. i need to swim! at least once! more tomorrow.
