can you believe that i am at work.. finalizing.. i think i am done with my portion! it wasn't so bad. daddy feels so sorry for me, mommy too. but hey- i can't ever repay them for raising me. also i don't want daddy to be stressed. this stuff that he needs to get done, it's all easy, i can do it.

so! to update. last night- after work esther and i got HOT pearl milk tea at Fantasia and then cruised on over to Old Navy because i am looking for this maroon 3/4 sleeve shirt. i am looking for an xs, small is slightly too big- or maybe just GET IT! eeee. clothes can get so expensive. it was the old navy in oakridge mall. on the way there, our Empty gas light came up. we had to stop on Camden drive in Campbell. ghetto! my sister and i had a conversation about how "rich" we were, or are, compared to the rest of the US. hmmm, i have more thoughts about this.. !! westgate isn't the most posh place, but i feel a difference when i am there compared to oakridge. but! oakridge brings back memories.. of our days in san jose and almaden. it is so remodelled!

hmm. also! mark called and we talked for a bit. it is good to hear him. i can hear in his voice that he is excited about coming. yay! i am too.

esther and i had our slumber party in our living room and watched part of this documentary on Guilin and also watched Raise the Red Lantern. sleeping in the living room is noisy! we could hear all the sounds of ppl walking and esther and i were up by 7:50 am.

today was supposed to be the play day and we spent forever deciding what to do. what happened was.. doctors appointment! at 10:45. (absolute waste of money- i am healthy! heee. i could have bought a shirt with the 35 buckos. why did i decide for this checkup. i vow not to see dr yeh until i graduate from college) then lunch at togos in almaden- and also susan's beauty salon for eyebrow waxing for me and cutting e's hair.

next, off to villa montalvo for our "workout". then we stopped by the library to check out the Mask of Zorro. that was when daddy called requesting us to go to the office. we went home, freshened up and then a little jamba stop and then now i am here..

im done technically- but there is still stuff to oversee.. please work!!! sigh. sigh no more ladies, sigh no more.. hey! i should see much ado about nothing again.

esther and i got some videos at the library- hopefully i will watch one tonight. raise the red lantern. (depressing!) the rainmaker. and the english patient. i am sort of in the mood for asian flicks. i want to watch a jet li movie before i leave for college. still lots to do! i am excited- esp now since i forsee a slight break on the horizon from work. yay. esther wants to go get boba. e is going to treat me to dinner on friday. =)

i learned from mark today that yah mean hey in korean. i hope he is okay! i worry about him. but yay! he is coming on saturday. i want to talk to him! we sorta of haven't been talking because we both know we will see each other soon. so much to do in so little time! daddy's project, packing, cleaning, beautifying- clothes shopping, taking mark to diff places... all done within one weeeeeekk..

it has been a quiet night. i just showered and also before that i watched Meet the Parents again. it is a cute movie.

the big news of today is that Santana Row caught fire at 4 pm this afternoon. the project is delayed, some jobs are cut, but at least no one was hurt. when i come back from college next year i will see it.. hopefully rebuilt by then. (the part that was damaged)

wow. in a week, it will be the last day of my summer. it flies by so quickly! i can't believe it. the one thing i am glad of is i will be spending time with mark on the flight back to michigan. hopefully i will get to talk to him about my academic life, what i hope to accomplish. life seems to be a circle of transitions. i have been home so long, but it's time to shift back into "school" mode. i wonder what the year will bring. new friends? i was just thinking about jonathan ma. he strikes me as one of those "good college buddies" like maybe 5 years from now if we are in the same neighborhood he would call me up to go eat and catch up. we didn't spend an enormous amount of time together but we have this understanding going on between us and we have a good time. its like i admire him a lot, and consider him as a friend, even though we aren't entirely "deep" with one another. i guess- it is a healthy boundary between us - comfortable zone. i hope to make more friends like him.

however, i hope to make more friends like karen. a good girl friend. i need to invest more time in girls, even though sometimes i think guys are easier to get along with. hmm.

that was the little blurb of tonight. i have to pack! i have to clean! i have to get ready!

where is esther? she went to stanford with jon- and she should be back.. and she has no key.. =) sigh. i will go look at my new esprit shoes. hee.

wohoo! i didn't have to work today... somehow esther and i got out of doing it. =) so! we watched-- blue crush!! possession! went to the mall to return my aldo shoes (again) saw this beautiful black wrap around conservative black dress at the limited- but i did not get it... and now we are watching the insider. hmm....
ah! we have to work tomorrow... until all the editing is done...

had to work today! and tomorrow! and monday! i am a little bummed because of it. so much stuff to do still. almost done. at least i am learning a lot. okie. enough about that!

today's highlights
1) watching Last of the Mohicans! again for like the 10th time! i think it is my favorite movie.. esther and i want to each buy the DVD-- sometime!!
2) watching amber ( the shihs dog) so cute! i want a dog!
3) hmm, i just cleaned out the bathroom- bottom drawers. i will be going to ann arbor in about 10 days! each day must do a little cleanup/organizing. also massive car, house clean up before mark comes on saturday!

tomorrow esther and i are going to have brunch at the ramada inn. mommy got some free coupons at work. so tomorrow i stuff myself! i hope its good.

hmm. anything else? more later......

esther and i just finished watching sling blade- it was quite touching- the only time in which murder is justified? there are some really kind people in that movie.. the kindest is the one who commits the murder.. the evil guy is killed.. it is a little bit long and slow- but i think definitely one of those movies you watch during the summer because you have so much time.

speaking of which- esther wants to see blue crush, possession and a good girl all before i leave. =) i haven't really gone to the movies much this summer- so i will make up for it now. =) hee. we also want to get from the library- evita and the english patient.

it looks like we have to work tomorrow. sigh. well- i hope to have a full week off next week. i am excited. next saturday, esther and i were also hoping to have a party-dinner-movie type thing. =) so far the guests are jon s, jon y, felicia, ivy, jess, mark, and maybe chanson? i think that would be a nice bunch.

okie. do i sound subdued. i think i sorta am- maybe im not so inspired to write these days. =P esp with esther home. hee. okay! off i go to shower.
